Lesson

The life we live is a lesson in misery.

And we’re all, by it’s whim, subject to this study.

We’re taken high, nearly embracing fantasy.

Then smashed into the very core of it’s great joke: reality.

The human form is a fragile one.

But we shrug off every impact, in the name of moving on.

And that’s it, the sad part.

Our lifespans are continua constantly under attack.

Existing in that state until it’s dark.

Because even our end is a call to reality, alas.
