Write Love

I put pen to paper,
Finger to screen.
Both hovering,
Awaiting something within:

The words of love
And happy endings;
Of sun and greens
And all in between.

Still they're paused,
A whisk from true being.
The stream is dammed,
It's flow long since ceased.

Left to inhabit
These glum arid heaths.
My soul still yearns
For finger to kiss screen.
